Who we are
Brett Harkness Photography Ltd, run by Brett and Kristie Harkness. Any questions, just email info@brettharknessphotography.com.
When you send an enquiry
Your message comes straight to our email. Only Brett and Kristie read it, and we'll only contact you about your enquiry. We don't add you to mailing lists, use your details for marketing, or pass them on to anyone else.
When you book
We keep your contract, booking details and photos so we can look after your wedding.
- Bookings and contracts: Agree
- Online galleries: Pixieset, protected by a passcode only you have
- Card payments by phone: a Streamline card machine. We never keep your card details.
Where it's kept
On our password-protected computers and storage at home, backed up to external drives, with a cloud copy on Backblaze (in the USA, and GDPR compliant).
Wedding guests
Guests appear in photos as part of the story of the day. We ask couples to point their guests to this page before the wedding. If you'd rather not be photographed, just tell us before the day or on it.
Cookies
The site runs on Squarespace, which uses cookies to make it work and to count visits.
Your rights
You can ask to see, change or delete what we hold about you at any time. Just email us.
