Hi, I’m Brett, a London-based wedding and event photographer with over 20 years’ experience photographing luxury London weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, parties, and private celebrations. While I’m behind the camera capturing the moments that matter most, my wife Kristie looks after everything beyond the photography — managing enquiries, planning, timelines, and client care — ensuring every couple and family enjoys a smooth, well-organised experience from the very first conversation through to final delivery.

Based in London, I photograph weddings and events across the UK and internationally, working with clients who value experience, discretion, and beautifully crafted imagery. Over two decades behind the camera has taught me how to read a room, anticipate moments, and document celebrations naturally as they unfold, without interruption or staging.

Alongside weddings, my work includes Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, private parties, and large-scale celebrations, each approached with the same level of care, attention, and professionalism. I work alongside a trusted team who have been with me for over 15 years, including my assistants Ross and Jon, ensuring consistency, calm, and professionalism throughout — all supported by Kristie’s behind-the-scenes coordination that keeps everything running seamlessly.

FAQs

  • To be honest I travel all over the UK & Europe photographing weddings. I live in a small town called Lytham, a beautiful coastal town on the west coast. I love nothing better than jumping in the car with my cameras and photographing your wedding, wherever it may be!

    We also have a flat in Harpenden - 30 mins from London so you’ll also often find me down there on shoots and meeting clients. No where is too far or close so if you love my work let’s chat.

  • It will be me and one of my assistants. If you have chosen an associate package then it will be one of my team. But pretty much 99% of the weddings I book per year are photographed by me & my second photographer Ross or Jon.

  • We don’t put our pricing on our site as there are many factors that determine our pricing as every wedding follows its own unique path. Coverage, travel and album options are all detailed in our pricing guide which is available via our contact form. We usually reply the same day. It may just be more affordable than you think.

  • A day or so after your wedding we will send a sneak peek for you to see. Then generally 3-4 weeks after the event you will receive your final gallery on line for you & your family & friends to look through. If you have chosen an album then you can start to pick for that online also. We have coffee table books and Albums. We can also deliver the finished files on a USB or external drive as well.

  • Yes we work with the premium album supplier in the world, Queensberry Albums in New Zealand. We can quote for an album as part of your package or you can choose to purchase an album at a later date.

    All of our albums are hand made and you will get to sign off on the design before going to print. There are a host of options, sizes and material to choose from. We also offer a slightly cheaper Coffee Table Book as an option.

ABOUT US

'After many years of travel and working in Miami with people from all countries and cultures, it was under American skies in 1999 when I met Kristie. From that day forth, our own love story spiralled into a marriage, a business and an expanding family. It became our dream to work together creating a career that reflects our passion for both family and photography, whilst maintaining a distinct vision on how the Harkness brand would progress. In 2001 that dream became a reality and as 2022 is nearly done that success is very much growing with every passing day. We moved to the beautiful town of Lytham on the Fylde Coast just after lock down. With our client base spread over the entire UK & Europe nowhere is too far. I grab my camera and go. ‘
