Part two of our Canadian wedding extravaganza was the beautiful wedding of my brother-in-law Kelly & his gorgeous wife Danielle. They were married in Saskatoon, Canada with their reception at The Delta Bessborough Hotel in Saskatoon city centre. Thanks to Chantelle from Chantelle Moore photography in Moose-jaw for assisting me all day. Kristie was a bridesmaid all day so was tied up with other duties, although she chipped in  a bit!

Thanks to Kelly & Dani for walking around town with us and being great sports!

Kelly & Danielle are now on their honeymoon around Europe and will be popping into the uk next week to see their piccies! Can't wait!

Here are a few images from the wedding day.

Stunning images, Brett...What comes across is the attention to detail and the personalities of the bride and groom. Candid, fun, wistful and a nice touch with the typography, which adds something extra to the collection.

Wow - and thank you to Brett & Kristie for the amazing opportunity and experience to work with you. I was honoured to spend the day with you and your family - so thank you also to Kelly & Dani for letting me come along for the ride too. Brett definitely captured the beauty and details of the day and most importantly what the day was really all about - the love and fun these two share together. I had big shoes to fill - as Kristie slipped on her heels for the day - I kept the flats on, my mind wide open and just absorbed all that I could with the best of best! Truly an experience I look forward to again and will never forget. Brett's professional and creative approach pushes all boundaries to achieve the magnificent results that he seems to keep surpassing.

WARNING ( long post ) But worth it!!

Well, wow. What a couple of weeks we have had in Canada. Cannot wait for our next visit in Sep. Here are some images from our 1st wedding of the trip ( Kerri & Andy ) Thanks very much guys for choosing us to be a part of your special day. We spent an hour or so with Kerri & Andy before the wedding which was a great chance to shoot at some very cool locations that we found around 10 mins away from the lakeside location. Thank you to Chantelle & Sarah Moore & team for planning and executing an amazing day.Thank you to Kristie as always for being my eyes, ears & hands!! To Craig for driving and assisting. To Ellen's Flowers for some beautiful creations. A special thank you to Kerri & Andy for letting us drag you through the thistles and dragon flies!! Much appreciated.

Shooting a wedding out in the open in very bright sunshine is very rewarding but very testing. I was looking for shade, backgrounds of texture as well as using the sky and grass as part of the image. Using strong flash also to help over power the sun as well as using 1.2 lenses to use the strong bright ambience.

If you have 2 mins please leave a comment at the bottom of this post or on the side bar of the blog.
We also have some great courses coming up soon including a great Wedding course. To see more please CLICK HERE.
