Nice article - I basically never, ever take my 50mm off of my camera - apart from to put on (rarely) an 85mm.

Happy New Year to everyone from Brett Harkness Photography. We had a a great Christmas away in Canada, only getting down to -35c this year, pretty warm! and then on the way back we stopped off in New York for a bit of a party! We were also very fortunate to be doing a Pre-Wedding shoot there for a wedding we have this year, thanks to Danielle & Stewart for putting up with the cold of -15c and we can't wait for your wedding later this year.

I will be adding a few shots from their pre-wedding shoot this week. In the meantime here are a few shots taken whilst walking around the streets.Just a few snaps, I will be visiting NY again in the year for some designated shooting time.

Its probably a trade secret but i was interested to know how you go about processing your raw shots.

All your images have a fantastic feel to them with the colour and contrast.

Its all about the composition and setup but what kind of things do you do in the processing to breath more life into them. The colours look stunning. Love the night time shots and detailed stuff like the mustang above.
