Head shot

Here are a few shots taken over the weekend for a cover shot for a Photography magazine. Just thought I'd post a few here of the lovely Sophie. Hopefully the shot will make it to the cover, if so then I will post it on the blog. The point of the shoot was to test out a 50mm 1.8 lens to see if it could cut the mustard.

Hi Brett what make of 50mm lense were you testing. Was it the Canon EF 50mm 1.8 II thats only £89.00? The results look like it did cut the mustard. It's not as fast though i guess as the 50mm 1.2 but is a very good investment?

Hi Simon, yes it was the 1.8, cheapo but pretty good. I work with the 1.2 now but as a cheap option it's pretty good..

Hi, awesome photo's. I use the 50mm 1.8 and love the lens, even though it really is a cheapie compared to the other's available. I would definitely recommend it to anyone on a budget.
